Guest Blog: Diana Davison on Feminists and Anti-FGM Activism

This is a Crazy As We Wanna Be approved blog: It is refreshing to see western women themselves questioning the basis of anti-FGM activism and taking feminists to task on this issue. I am glad to see this sharp and witty woman make reference to and quote from the original statement of African Women Are Free to Choose, which was published in a Sierra Leone online newspaper, Patriotic Vanguard, back in 2009. Given a recent article by the President of the Sierra Leone Journalist Association promulgating the one-sided radical feminist anti-FGM agenda in Sierra Leone, I think this statement is especially apt to discuss now. Oh, and love those puppies, Diana!!!
